Gladiator II picks up years after the tragic death of Maximus, the beloved general and gladiator. The story follows Lucius, Maximus’ former young ally, who has grown into a man haunted by the past. After the powerful emperors of Rome conquer his home, Lucius is forced to enter the Colosseum, where he must face the brutal reality of Roman combat. With rage in his heart and the future of the empire hanging in the balance, Lucius searches for the strength and honor needed to restore the glory of Rome.

Directed by Ridley Scott, the sequel to the iconic Gladiator brings the raw intensity and epic scope of the Roman Empire back to the big screen.
